Eureka Springs Vacation
Planning a relaxing vacation to the quaint village of Eureka Springs, Arkansas in the heart of the Ozark Mountains? Eureka Springs, Arkansas offers visitors the opportunity to explore an endless array of unique shops and places like the Haunted Crescent Hotel or Thorncrown Chapel which are scattered amongst its winding mountain roads. At the end of the day, you want to be able to unwind and kick back in an enjoyable environment. Why scrimp and save to escape the chaos of everyday life only to find yourself crammed in a faceless, generic hotel offering poptarts and toast for breakfast? A log cabin rental offers all the calming comforts of home and the quiet, refreshing seclusion many hope to achieve on a get away. Best of all, cabins are an affordable alternative!
Log cabin rentals may not provide the opulence of a penthouse suite or the services of a valet jockey at your beck and call that may be found at a hotel, but don't ignore this option for fear of waking up to the sounds of a rooster crowing or the smell of an outhouse lingering in the air. Along with spectacular vantage points and peaceful surroundings, you'll discover fully-stocked kitchens, satellite televisions, sparkling hot tubs and wood-burning fireplaces. Just to give a taste of the options available, I would like to take you on a tour of my three favorite log cabins available to rent while on vacation in Eureka Springs.

The Original Treehouse Cottages
To reach the offices of the Treehouse Cottages from Eureka Springs, go south on Highway 23 and then turn right on Highway 62 West (which is West Van Buren). You will travel past the Eureka Springs Visitor's Center before you reach the office on the left right across from Bubba's BBQ Restaurant.

There are eight different cabins available and you immediately see why they are called treehouses when you see them built up on stilts amongst the trees... amazing! One of the cabins, Whispering Wood, greets guests with a huge picture window that provides a stunning view without even having to go outside. The large stone fireplace, stained glass window, and large heart-shaped jacuzzi all combine for the perfect way to rejuvenate your body and soul.

I love cabins- they're such a nice in-between point between camping and staying in a swanky hotel- so I find this guide to be quite helpful! Those treehouse cottages are the COOLEST!!! Great hub!
